Burlap Fern

Decorate your space with our burlap ferns. Burlap planters allow your plant to nestle into a natural environment. Burlap bags offer a better growing atmosphere and a better rate of success for growing healthy plants. 

Burlap is made from natural jute fibres that are woven into a loose, breathable, biodegradable cloth. A burlap planter will not begin to tarnish or look like it is biodegrading for at least a year or more. Don't worry though your burlap can handle it! It takes decades for burlap to decompose. 

Fiber bags and pots allow more air to circulate in the soil for a strong root system. Without proper aeration, roots can bind and circle within the container, becoming root bound and damaging the plant. Plant roots in burlap bags will produce larger root systems. 

Water

Water tends to evaporate more quickly in plant fiber containers which help to keep the temperature of the soil cooler. Roots are protected from overheating in extremely hot weather. That means it is important to water the plants frequently.

No need to worry about watering too much and causing root-rot because the additional water will wash out from the bottom of the burlap bag. For this reason, be sure to place your burlap bag on a plate or coaster. As long as your plant in the burlap bag does not sit in a pool of water no molding will happen.  

Note, that you will also need to replace fertilizer and nutrients more often.
